Everest Infrastructure Partners announces the addition of Maria Klutey as Managing Director, Energy Finance. “Maria brings to us many years of experience in finance and project development throughout the renewable energy industry. We are very pleased to have her join us in this leadership role,” said Matt Newton, CEO of Everest Infrastructure Partners.
In her role with Everest, Klutey will lead transaction origination activities in energy finance, primarily for utility-scale solar and wind energy projects. Everest provides capital and financial solutions to landowners and project developers throughout the U.S. “I am pleased to join this talented group of professionals and eager to work with my developer colleagues throughout the industry,” said Klutey. “The team at Everest is uniquely experienced in providing capital and financing solutions for infrastructure assets. Prior to joining Everest, Klutey was the Managing Partner of Liberty Clean Power, an advisory firm to renewable power projects. Prior to founding Liberty Clean Power, Klutey was the Chief Financial Officer for American Wind Capital Corporation and was previously a Senior Vice President, Renewables for GE Financial Services.
